What we collect
- From you: your store address, the email address alerts go to, and, if you give it, your storefront password.
- From checking your store: the result of each hourly check, timing per step, and screenshots of the public pages our test shopper saw. Screenshots can include your product names and prices. They never include a real customer's data, because the only shopper is ours.
- From this site: standard server logs (address, time, page). No analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, no cookies beyond what your browser needs to load the page.
What we do with it
We use it to run the checks, email you when something breaks, and bill you. Nothing else. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it to train anything.
Who else sees it
- Resend delivers our email and sees the addresses and the alert content, including the screenshot attached to it.
- Stripe handles payment. We never see your card number.
- Hetzner hosts the server in the EU; Cloudflare serves this site.
Your store's customers
Our shopper never places an order, never pays, and never sees your customers' data. Your store will record one abandoned checkout an hour from "Checkwalk Monitor" at checkout-monitor@checkwalk.com. Filter that address out of your marketing flows.
Keeping and deleting
Check results and screenshots are kept for 90 days, then deleted. If you remove your store, we stop checking at once and delete its data within 30 days. Email hello@checkwalk.com to have it deleted sooner, or to get a copy of what we hold.
